Apart from Heston, I never took notice of the cast before, so is cool to see Zerbe playing yet another character with a leper-like complexion. "Yeah. I couldn't find a pic of Zerbe in 'Papillon'. I saw the above (Omega Man) when it came out, in an old downtown theatre, with curtains and fake balconies, etc. The perfect setting." --Grimes
"I miss those--the look of those old dingy movie theatres, even if have never actually set foot in one. Can't stand these cramped atmosphere-free 'plasticky' multiplex joints of today. It's been a good ten years or so since we got one of those glass-fronted monstrosities erected here, and I've still yet to sit down and watch something there (though I have set 'drunken' foot inside the place). Is not a patch on the old dark, cavernous dual(!)-screened beast we once had here 'over the bridge'." --Ryan H.
